Coco Rocha - my role model
This amazing and beautiful canadian model with an Irish heritage started her career in a way every model-wannabe dreams of. Discovered by an agency scout at one of her Irish dance competitions.
She started her career in 2004 and already by 2006 she was on the cover of Vogue Italia doing also many shows for important designers.
In the 2007 John Paul Gaultier show, she opened it by Irish dancing down the runway, as you can see at the beginning of the video below:
She has been on many covers of the most prestigious magazines, from W to Harper's Bazaar.
Coco has strongly spoken against eating disorders in the fashion industry. She also does charity.
Since 2010 she is happily (lets hope at least) married to James Conran.
In 2012 she was declared one of the 30 top models of the 2000s.
To me she is a personal role model. She inspires me through her intelligence and presence. She breaks the stereotype of a stupid fashion model, especially standing against anorexia in the modeling industry. The queen of posing. You simply can't not like her! (Images from models.com)
